Being a healthcare employee sure isn’t easy. From long hours on the job to the notion of dealing with perpetual patient demands, working in the medical field can take a toll on even the most motivated of individuals. Throw in local requirements for CE credits, and it’s a formula that’s likely to drive some to leave the industry altogether.

The problem with CE credits in the medical field is that although they can actually end up benefitting workers (and their patients) in the long run, the process of obtaining them can be rather burdensome. While some states mandate that CE credits be obtained while employees are on the job, in most cases, those who need to fulfill CE requirements will have to do so on their own time and at their own expense.

In fact, the onus of CE credits has caused many workers within the healthcare field to regard any type of mandatory training as a negative thing. This sentiment, for some, holds true when it comes to learning to use healthcare technology. These days, medical professionals have a variety of new and exciting tools at their disposal, from EHRs to remote monitoring devices. The problem, however, is that when it comes to healthcare technology training, employees tend to rebel, if not outwardly then at least internally. And when it comes to these types of initiatives, a bad attitude can render the training process relatively useless.

What’s the solution then? The answer is a simple one: By attaching CE credits to healthcare technology training, physicians can motivate their employees to approach the process in an open-minded fashion.

Offering CE credits to workers for technology training is actually a very effective staff retention strategy. After all, employees who feel appreciated are more likely to stick around in the long run than those who feel that their time isn’t valued. Additionally, by giving employees the opportunity to undergo training via eLearning—an option that represents the utmost in flexibility and convenience—those in charge of rolling out healthcare technology are less likely to be met with resistance on the part of nurses and administrative staff members who will actually need to use these tools on a regular basis.

Furthermore, by attaching CE credits to healthcare technology training, providers can motivate their employees to actually want to learn. This will result in their workers’ ability to utilize their new tools more efficiently and, in turn, yield a greater return on their technological investments.

Since implementing technology into a medical practice is no easy task, providing CE credits to employees offers a win-win situation for all involved, from doctors to workers to patients looking for more options and a better experience overall. So rather than compel employees to undergo training in a manner that is stress-inducing and overwhelming, physicians should offer them the opportunity to learn something new in a manner that yields them the credits they need to keep on doing their jobs.

WiMAX technology is identified as Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access; it is formed in June 2001 to encourage conformance and interoperability of the WiMAX (IEEE 802.16) standard, officially known as Wireless Metropolitan Area Network (WMAN). WiMAX technology intended to offer wireless data in a related fashion as compare to WiFi but on a outsized level and speed, therefore building national wireless networks with ease.

The driving forces behind WiMAX technology are link-to-multilink microwave networks from organizations for instance Alcatel and Siemens stay alive for years. Alternatively WiMAX offers a consistent technology according to its standard. WiMAX technology open loom could let product manufacturers make revenues of scale via producing number of WiMAX products & components to single IEEE 802.16 standard, this also allow component manufacturers buy low-cost, standards compliant components from rival component providers. This would defiantly help existing wireless service providers.

In addition, service providers lacking a mobile network can start a WiMAX technology network at comparatively stumpy price. WiMAX technology would also allow interoperability among different systems. WiMAX technology will offer high data speed network connections and in this manner serve as a backhaul for WiFi LAN (WLAN) hot spots, where people on the move can access carriers’ WiFi services on mobile technology basis. WiMAX technology possibly will offer a much cheaper, easier to build network infrastructure other than the physical medium of WiFi backhauls that cable, T1 or DSL systems presently offer. These issues, together with user’s requirements for broadband facilities, will offer the grounds to markets to grow with WiMAX and wireless-broadband. However, the WiMAX technology faces some solid challenges ahead of it can become commonly accepted by users.

Because WiMAX is based on IEEE 802.16 Standard and HiperMAN, the IEEE and ETSI have each become accustomed it’s standard to take in many of the other’s essential characteristics. IEEE 802.16 standard partitioned its MAC (Medium Access Control) layer into sub-layers that hold some different transport equipments and technologies, together with Ethernet, IPv4, IPv6 and other asynchronous transfer mode. This allows traders to use WiMAX technology it doesn’t matter about what technology they support for transmission. WiMAX technology has a wide communication range up to 50 kilometres because principles allows WiMAX network to transfer data at higher rates and because of this move towards use of directional antennas that generates persistent radio signals. WiMAX base station provide service to only 500 users at a time not more than that just because to they are sharing bandwidth and this factor may result in lower date rates among. Technically every single station will possibly provide communication an area inside a 10 miles radius. On the other hand WiFi has a range of only a few hundred feet while other third generation mobile networks have the range of few thousand feet.

As compare to other wireless standards their address broadcastings over particular frequency range, WiMAX network allocates data communication over several broad signal frequency ranges. The capacity to work in several ranges makes the most of the technology’s ability to communicate above the frequencies that will evade interference with other wireless network applications. WiMAX system’s communication date rate and range differ a lot depending on implementation usage of frequency bands. These advantages of flexibility allow providers to employ different frequencies that depend on the speed and range needed for a particular data communication. The WiMAX technology attains higher data transmission rates in part by OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing). OFDM amplifies data capacity and bandwidth via dividing broad capacity channels to many narrowband channels; every channel uses different frequencies that can transmit different pieces of a message at the same time.

The spaces between channels are extremely close mutually other than avoiding intervention as nearby channels are orthogonal to each other and therefore no overlapping between them. The primary IEEE 802.16 standard uses the 10 to 66 GHz frequency range. On those higher frequencies WiMAX network needed a straight line of sight among senders & receivers. This factor shrinks the multi path distortion that arises when transmitting signals not follow the line of sight echoed of outsized items and finish off out of organization, in this manner jumbling the inbound communication and reducing bandwidth.

Dropping multi path distortion could therefore enhance the bandwidth. In theory WiMAX network can offer single channel data rates up to 75 Mbits/s equally on the downlink and uplink. Service providers can use several 802.16 channels for single broadcast to offer bandwidths of up to 350 Mb per second.

The accepted IEEE 802.11b WiFi WLAN technology data rate are limited to 11Mbps, on the other hand newer 802.11a and 802.11g provide upto 54Mbps in favourable conditions but practically all of the them transmit at lesser speed. Third generation mobile network technologies will support around 115 Kbps.

As far as security is concerned in WiMAX technology it uses PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) authentication, which transmit via digital certificates by identifying parties over trusted authorities. The IEEE 802.16 system encrypts data by using 56 bit DES (Data Encryption Standard) keys. In the meantime WiMAX network is extremely scalable as it is simple to include broadcast channels to offer extra bandwidth as required.

The expenditure of setting up wireless technology is significantly increases when the wireless services are supplied at higher frequencies as the line of sight constraints required the setting up of further antennas to cover up the equivalent geographical area. The available frequencies for new wireless standards such as IEEE 802.16 are normally higher as some of the other wireless technologies are more sought-after to lower ranges that have been approved for other use.

During the development of WiMAX technology, the WiMAX Forum has strongly supported and encourage the WiMAX technology, which involves a cluster of commercial leaders such as AT&T, Cisco, Samsung, Intel, and some others giants. The WiMAX forum group’s workforce is comprised of many working groups that highly focused on regulatory, marketing, technological characteristics. WiMAX product certification program was extended by the certification working group which intends to certify interoperability among WiMAX products from manufacturers internationally.

Open up New ways to minimize the distances between wireless networks

WiMAX is the abbreviation of Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access. This new wireless technology is based on standards of IEEE 802.16, so to bring a greater broadband speed and to give a chance of cheap communication over the wireless network. WiMAX has given a great boost to technology; being a provider of true speed for communication.

WiMAX consists of two major applications one is called Fixed WiMAX and other is called Mobile WiMAX. The purpose of first type is to enhance the communication speed of the home users and business officials, where a communication of point to multiple nodes is done. Other type of WiMAX is concerned with the cellular phones and their full mobile utility. Both of these technologies are designed keeping in mind users friendliness, high speed, low cost and large turnover.

OFDMA (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access) is embedded in Mobile WiMAX. OFDMA adds some useful features to this modern application, which include high throughput, support to advanced antennas and great performance. Such features are not seen in the existing wireless communication technology implemented over wide area networks.

This technology is designed to facilitate laptop users to connect with World Wide Web, without having a physical connection. WiMAX is launched to convince the users of cable and DSL to go for WiMAX, which is a best alternate. This latest technology is fulfilling all the requirements of what is needed by a wireless network.

Some of the enhanced features of WiMAX are listed below

-	It offers best ever high telecommunication services.

-	It helps in making connection between Wi-Fi hotspots

-	It offers traveling connections; to be used even if you are traveling in a plane.

-	A best substitute of cable and DSL in terms of speed and throughput.

As news of a weakened economy continues to saturate the media and bombard business owners with negative messages, one company has found a creative way of adapting its services to fit within the current economic conditions and help businesses succeed.

Miles Technologies, a provider of business technology solutions, has created Monthly Budget Plans that allow customers to budget their technology-related expenses without having to commit to a long term contractual agreement.

According to Chris Miles, Chief Executive Officer of Miles Technologies, the company’s Monthly Budget Plans integrate separate services into one managed services package. In a single plan a customer can select business services that include IT Help Desk & Support, Business Software Support, Website Updates, and Online Marketing and Public Relations, as well as strategic consulting for all services.

Miles says that the Monthly Budget Plans were developed as a way to help customers continue productive business operations within the unsteady economic conditions by making managed services more cost effective.

“The Monthly Budget Plans were specifically designed with flexibility in mind,” explains Miles. “Most managed services providers require that customers sign a contract committing them to a certain monthly fee with a two to three year contract term. They lock in the customer which lowers the need to provide exceptional service in order to retain the customer. We’re different in that we do not require any specified length to the contract and they can cancel at any time. This way, the customer is using our services because we add value and not because of a contract term. We also allow for month-to-month flexibility in the plans in terms of both the level of services provided and the costs for those services.”

To further ensure the practicality of its monthly budget plans, Miles Technologies offers a one hour guaranteed response time for all budget plan customers 24 hours a day and seven days a week. In addition, customers may roll over any unused monthly budget time from month to month.

“We customize each budget plan in order to empower our customers with the best technology available for their businesses,” says Miles. “These plans are meant to provide a complete realm of services, from supporting a custom software application to identifying and resolving network issues before they result in downtime.”

According to Miles, the costs of outsourced IT services are easily justified when compared with the costs of a full time IT staff or the costs of unnecessary system downtime. He emphasizes that the predictability of the newly developed Monthly Budget Plans make the services especially realistic in the current economy.

Miles reports that the Monthly Budget Plans have been met with significant enthusiasm from customers. “Our main goal is to exhaust all possible options for helping our customers thrive in these conditions,” Miles says. “We are looking out for their businesses and trying to help them understand technology’s full potential so that they can make the best business decisions possible. In short, if our customers succeed, then we have succeeded.”

Founded in 1997 and headquartered in Moorestown, New Jersey, Miles Technologies is a leading provider of technology-based business solutions to small and medium-sized businesses in the mid-Atlantic region. With offices throughout New Jersey, New York, Washington D.C., Northern Virginia, Baltimore and the greater Philadelphia Metro area, Miles Technologies services the business needs of more than 1,800 clients and employs over 100 full-time professionals.
In the ten years since the company was established by Chris Miles, it has grown from an organization focused on providing unparalleled IT services support, to offering its customers a complete range of business solutions. Miles Technologies staff members are experts in areas such as advanced business systems integration, computer forensics, information security, online marketing and public relations & website development.

When bagphones and carphones were created nearly 20 years ago, no one could have imagined how far technology has come in the years in between. In just two decades, the portable phone has been transformed from a bulky apparatus that had to be plugged in to receive power, to an incredibly small hand-held device that can hold a charge for several days without needing to be plugged in. The newest smartphone phones, which rely on 3G wireless internet technology, are a world apart from older technology for so many reasons. As portable phones have evolved over the years, the reasons people use them has evolved rapidly as well.

Twenty years ago, people who had bagphones and carphones used them solely to call other people. It was like having a home phone in your car, and the main benefit was that you could call people from outside your home without having to find a payphone. A decade later, cellphones had become equipped with a new technology called “text messaging,” which allowed users to quickly send short messages to other cellphone users, thereby eliminating the need to call them. A decade after that, cellphone usage has continued to evolve. Yes, text messaging is still incredibly popular, but as wireless internet technology has evolved, people have begun using their phones to communicate over the internet rather than through traditional cellphone call minutes.

In the days of bagphones and carphones, one of the major disadvantages to their use, was the area of coverage that was available. Often, coverage was limited to a very small area, and once you were outside that area, users incurred roaming charges. Users were also charged by the number of calls they made each month, which got very pricey very quickly for many people. Now days though, both of those problems have been fixed. Cell phone providers have come up with various monthly plans which enable people to opt in and out of various types of coverage for affordable prices. Additionally, 3G wireless internet coverage has made network coverage larger and stronger, so there are fewer dropped calls and moments when people are unable to get internet access. All of those things will only get better in the near future, when 4G becomes the standard for cellphone and internet connections.

As this new technology takes hold, people will be able to navigate the internet faster from wherever they are across the country. This summer, 4G networks will be rolled out in many of the major cities in America, including New York City, Boston, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Washington D.C., Houston, Denver, Kansas City, St. Louis, Minneapolis, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Miami and Salt Lake City. Soon, inhabitants of those great cities will be able to use their smartphones and computers to surf the internet with incredible ease and speed. Gone are the days where you have to pull over to use a payphone or go inside and wait for your dial-up internet connection to finally allow you to check your email. Technology just keeps getting better, so make sure you keep up with it.

To get the fastest internet connection you can, you need <a rel=”nofollow” onclick=”javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview(‘/outgoing/article_exit_link’);” href=”<a rel=”nofollow” onclick=”javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview(‘/outgoing/article_exit_link’);” href=”http://www.getclearwirelessinternet.com/”>http://www.getclearwirelessinternet.com/”>clear</a>. <a rel=”nofollow” onclick=”javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview(‘/outgoing/article_exit_link’);” href=”http://www.getclearwirelessinternet.com/”>wireless internet plans</a> gives you speedy internet access at a great affordable price!

In this world, we have an idea that newer is always better, which isn’t always necessarily the case. When it comes to Internet technology, though, newer can most definitely be better. In fact, with each generation of Internet, speed and other factors just about doubles. If you are wondering exactly what’s different about the newest Internet technology, 4G, here are just a few of the answers.

The main difference between this new Internet technology and previous technological breakthroughs is sped. Basically, 4G is about twice as fast as 3G, which is about twice as fast as 2G. You may be wondering what you can do with all this extra speed. For one thing, you can surf the Internet more quickly when you’re connected to the latest technology, and you can also communicate more quickly through your new connection. Obviously, more speed will also allow you to enjoy easier access to regular websites on your laptop no matter where you are.

4G mobile Internet also has more bandwidth than its lower generation counterparts. The extra bandwidth allows you to do things that were never before possible with 2G and 3G connections. For instance, you can easily upload and download large files without totally freezing up your computer, and you can also watch streaming video and listen to streaming music through your mobile Internet connection. This extra bandwidth is so much that you can connect to mobile Internet and feel just like you’re computing at home.

Since 4G Internet gives you all these extra perks, you might be wondering exactly where you can get it. There aren’t a whole lot of companies who are using these connections now, and the ones that are have it within limited areas. Basically, this type of connection is just like 3G connections in that it is going to start out with small coverage areas and increase as its popularity grows. This means that you might not always be able to get the newest mobile technology wherever you go, but there is a solution.

Basically, some of the companies who offer 4G Internet access also offer the older 3G technology. Sometimes you can get a really excellent plan that will allow you to tap into both of these technologies. Basically, you’ll get a card that will allow your laptop to pick up the mobile Internet signal, and you’ll be able to get both the 4G and the 3G signal from your chosen Internet company. Your laptop will be set up so that it automatically connects when you’re in a 4G network, but when you get out of range, you’ll switch over to the other network. Your speed and bandwidth will suffer a bit, but you’ll have a larger range of connectivity.

Once you’ve decided to go with the latest Internet technology, you’ll never go back. Don’t forget that each time the next generation of Internet comes out, it is twice as fast and twice as good. Even if you think that it can’t be that much better than the mobile technology you have right now, you’ll be blown away when you try the newest options on the market.

Clear Mobile Internet provides simple and affordable plans for home internet, mobile internet and VoIP. Clear wireless Internet goes where you want to go.
